FastballHQ (fastballhq.com) is a data-driven MLB analytics platform. We are the data controller for information collected through this website.

FastballHQ does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We collect only the minimum information required to operate this service.

2. Information We Collect

• Usage data (automatically collected): IP address, browser type, OS, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps. Used for security monitoring and aggregate analytics only. Not used to identify individual users.
• Voluntarily provided data: If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and message content. Used only to respond to your inquiry.

FastballHQ does not require registration or sign-up. We do not collect names, payment information, or sensitive personal data.

3. Cookies

• Session cookies: Maintain basic session state. Expire when you close your browser.
• CSRF cookie: Security token against cross-site request forgery. A technical requirement, not a tracking mechanism.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or persistent behavioral tracking cookies. If analytics tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated.

4. Third-Party Services

• Tailwind CSS CDN — CSS framework from cdn.tailwindcss.com.
• HTMX — JavaScript library from unpkg.com.
• MLB Stats API — Publicly available game data. No user data is sent to MLB.

We have no control over the privacy practices of these third parties.

• Operating and maintaining the website (security, error monitoring, performance)
• Responding to direct inquiries submitted by email
• Generating aggregate, anonymized statistics about site usage

We do not use your data to build personal profiles, serve targeted advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then purged. Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve the inquiry.
